MIRRORCITY shows recent work and new commissions by key emerging and established artists working in the capital today. These artists seek to address the challenges, conditions and consequences of living in a digital age.

James Bridle Online/Offline Residency

For the duration of MIRRORCITY (14 October – 4 January) writer, publisher and technologist James Bridle will carry out an online/offline residency responding to the themes of the exhibition.

GET THE NEWSPAPER

A unique artist-led publication edited by Tom McCarthy and presented in a newspaper format, it features newly-commissioned texts and images from the author, artists included in the show and celebrated writers Chloe Aridjis, Stewart Home and Deborah Levy. Includes a full-colour ‘supplement’, featuring large-format images of the works in the exhibition and an introductory essay by curator Stephanie Rosenthal.

Project
The curatorial journey in putting together the Hayward Gallery exhibition, MIRRORCITY, has been an extremely interesting one. As part of the exhibition the Hayward Gallery have invited UNIT to investigate this process and respond to their findings.
