London artists on fiction and reality

14 October 2014 - 4 January 2015

MIRRORCITY shows recent work and new commissions by key emerging and established artists working in the capital today. These artists seek to address the challenges, conditions and consequences of living in a digital age.

The Fabricator's Tale and Other Stories

Saturday 15 November

Artists Katrina Palmer, Samuel Hasler, Francesco Pedraglio and Sarah Tripp brush aside the formal disction between art and literature.

Using language to construct both real and fictional objects and spaces – glitches, obstructions, folds and dead ends – they shape content into diverse forms including sculpture, installation, an essay or an anecdote, video and voice, the novel or pulp noir.

On Saturday 15 November each artist will read from their work. This event accompanies the artists' exhibition Dr Sinclair’s Drawer at Flat Time House (9 October- 23 November 2014) and takes place in colloboration with both Flat Time House and Book Works.
